We cordially invite you to the 2013 ASCE International Workshop on Computing in Civil Engineering (ASCE IWCCE 2013), which will be held from June 23 to 25, 2013 at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA.

IWCCE was created by members of the ASCE Technical Council on Computing and Information Technology (TCCIT) to advance professional knowledge and improve the practice of civil engineering by encouraging the effective use of current and emerging computing and information technologies. TCCIT promotes computing research and education across all aspects of civil engineering subdisciplines. IWCCE has been held in several states across the United States, and produced a diverse spectrum of highly cited papers that have been published in proceedings by ASCE and are available from the ASCE database. IWCCE is held bi-annually and every time produces a compelling illustration of how recent advances in data sensing, information analysis (visualization, modeling, and simulation) and knowledge discovery address a number of unique challenges in civil engineering.

IWCCE 2013 will be very unique, as it will broaden the spectrum of civil engineering areas represented by encouraging the submission of papers from all civil engineering subdiscipines. This will diversify the participation of experts working in computing research in civil engineering.

Please join us, share and learn about the most recent advances in resilience and smart structures, sustainability and the environment, geo-modeling and geomechanics, intelligent transportation systems and construction automation and IT. ASCE IWCCE 2013 promises to be the prime venue for experts in all areas of civil engineering to find common ground, foster new ideas, and identify unique research collaboration opportunities.

We look forward to seeing you in Los Angeles!
